Beecher Community Schools

Home

Greetings,

Beecher Community School District is proud to serve students from Pre-K through 12th grade and adult education. Our Buccaneer pride is evident in our school spirit and focus on individualized academic programs to prepare each child for the global economy. Beecher provides, meaningful academic, and co-curricular support to our students.

Our athletic department is proud to provide opportunities for students to participate in activities outside the regular academic day. Bridges to the 21st Century provides outstanding after school programming for students K-8. While the Beecher Community School District
is only five square miles, we serve over 2,000 students. Communication is provided four times per year in our newsletter named In-Touch. We also have digital dialing (synervoice) that sends messages via phone to our school community.

Our website provides communication to parents and students with individual teacher web pages, Web Grader, curriculum information and policies of the district. Please take time to explore our many website resources.

We are proud of The Beecher Scholarship Incentive Program (BSIP); it is a creation of the Ruth Mott Foundation and members of the Beecher Community School District family. BSIP assists students to graduate from
Beecher High School and find success in a post-secondary education or training program.

To achieve this, BSIP provides:

Early support programs in the 7th and 8th grades;
♦ Partnering with existing 9th – 12th grade pre-college programs in Genesee County
colleges and universities;
♦ O
ffers supplemental cultural and enrichment activities;
♦ Make available significant performance scholarships to those who successfully complete the programs
