A highlight of the retreat was the in-depth team building and leadership development sessions facilitated by Carlos Johnson of Revolutionize Schools and Classrooms, which reinforced the power of collaboration, communication, and shared vision. Additional presentations from Maryjo Thrun, Jeremy Linne and Lauren Berkley of GPS Solutions provided valuable insights and guidance to help move the district MTSS initiatives forward.

Attendees included Dr. Jendayi Gardner, Ms. Lashema Marble, Mr. Lance Sumpter, Ms. Elayashia Kendall, Mr. Alfred Cook, Mr. Deonta Wells, Mrs. Michelle Woodley, Mr. Tyrone McCloud, Mr. John Jenkins, Mr. Terrelle Daniel, Ms. Lisa Fields, Nerita Adams-Spillers , Eric Cooper and Mr. Roger Dellar. Together, this dedicated leadership team demonstrated a strong commitment to continuous improvement and excellence for Beecher students, staff, and families.

The retreat was not only informative but fun. Breaking bread together allows a bond that builds trust and communication. GO BUCS

Beecher Community School District in Action!

Beecher Higher Learning Academy proudly represented our district at the County-Wide AI Task Force!

Supervisor Ms. Elayashia Kendall and Instructional Specialist Alfred Cook joined educational leaders from across the county to collaborate, build meaningful connections, and shape the future of AI in education and at Beecher Community School District.

Together, the task force worked to establish shared commitments, identify top priorities, and align on key network dates and district deliverables for the 2026–2027 school year.

Building county-wide connections to gain clarity and direction was a truly rewarding experience for our Beecher Community Schools AI team leaders. We are excited to bring this innovative work back to support our students and staff!
The future is bright at Beecher!
