Celebrating Principal Lance Sumpter – A True Beecher Buccaneer!
During National Principal Month, we proudly honor Mr. Lance Sumpter, a 1996 graduate of Beecher High School who now leads the very halls that shaped him. His journey from student to principal is a powerful testament to the transformative power of education—and his unwavering belief that education is the opportunity to change a student’s trajectory.
As the passionate leader of Beecher High School, Mr. Sumpter has never stopped striving to make BHS a change agent in the lives of our students. He’s tried countless innovative approaches to help students discover who they are, what they want to become, and how to get there. His vision is clear: support every student, uplift every dream, and build a future where young men grow into gentlemen and young ladies into confident, empowered women.
Mr. Sumpter’s leadership is rooted in love, discipline, and hope. He inspires his team to rally around students and reminds us daily that Beecher is more than a school—it’s a family.
Beecher Community School District is grateful, proud, and honored to have Mr. Sumpter as part of our school family. His heart beats for Beecher, and we love him for it.
Thank you, Mr. Sumpter, for being a beacon of hope, a role model, and a true Buccaneer.
