The Student Council Basketball Tournament on October 18, 2024, was a slam dunk! Teams brought their A-game, showing off their skills and sportsmanship in the fast-paced 3v3 double-elimination battles. From the first tip-off to the final buzzer, students gave it their all, playing hard and having a blast. The courts were alive with energy, teamwork, and friendly competition.
The crowd cheered on as teams showcased incredible moves, while substitutions kept the pace fast and dynamic. Everyone had a great time, and the winning team walked away with two $20 gift cards after an intense final game. Congratulations to everyone who participated, and a huge shoutout to the students, teachers, and spectators for making this event a fantastic success! #bucpride #studentcouncilevent

Another Amazing Day at Beecher High School!
Today, we had the honor of welcoming Dr. Kevin Whitlow, MD, a proud Beecher grad from the Class of 1996 and best friend of Principal Lance Sumpter. Dr. Whitlow spoke to our 9th graders about pursuing careers in the healthcare field, setting goals, building strong friendships, and overcoming challenges.
He inspired students by emphasizing the importance of understanding their value and seizing opportunities. Dr. Whitlow also offered his support as a mentor and resource for their questions, dreams, and future goals.
